A Miner's Light
To be a miner, going down underneath
the ground,
it takes more than the light on his helmet to make things safe
and sound.
There's not much air, the dust is thick, they need to work as
a team
to get their job done and get back up where they can all be seen.
Yes, to be a miner, under the ground
where it's darker than the night,
it takes more than the lamp on his helmet - it takes an inner
light -
a feeling deep inside of him that they are not alone;
that Someone leads them through the tunnel and sees them safely
home.
